What is SAC?

SAC stands for School Advisory Council. Each school in the state of Florida must have a SAC committee. It is composed of team of people representing various segments of the community- parents, teachers, administrators, support staff, and other interested community members. The group shares responsibility for guiding the school toward continuous improvement.

What is the purpose of SAC?

The purpose of SAC is to assist in the preparation and evaluation of the School Improvement Plan (SIP), school budget and other areas of interest.
